GRADE 2

Students have worked really hard throughout the term and I am very happy with the progress they have made, especially in ‘Exposition Writing’. They are now writing with proper structure and language features. I am also impressed by how far some of the students have come in reading as well.

In Integrated Studies, students have been learning about the continents, oceans and the states of Australia. They’ve also learnt about the famous Australian landmarks and their locations. It was fun labelling and colouring the maps.

We celebrated World Environment Day at school on 5th June and Grade 2 students presented a special item at the assembly. They were excited to perform the ‘4 R’s’ song in front of the school and took pride in showing off their ‘Recycle Crowns’.

Thanks to all the parents and guardians who have been helping their kids with the homework and making sure that it is submitted on time. The students will be getting some holiday homework as well which is due on the first day back.

*Students are looking forward to the term break. They have even started making plans.

‘I want to go to the snow.’ – Ruzgar Bilir
‘I would like to go to the beach.’ – Ayesha Mansuri
‘I will play and do a lot of shopping.’ – Mohammed Alshamarry
‘I am planning to go to Hamza A’s house during the holidays and play video games.’ – Zuhair Abbas
‘I will go to the cinemas.’ – Ercan Uguz

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday.
